Set your levels, fine tune your EQs and effects, record automation, punch in and punch out of recordings, all at the tip of your fingers. The QCon Pro G2 sports nine motorized faders, eight multi-purpose push encoders, 78 buttons, jog shuttle wheel, and 2 foot pedal connectors. 12-segment LED level meters are provided for each channel, and a large backlit LCD screen displays channel names and parameter values. A 12-segment LED display is also provided for SMPTE or MIDI beat clock.The Icon Pro Audio QCon Pro G2 utilizes Mackie Control and HUI emulation to control your favorite digital audio workstation and includes overlays for most popular DAWs including Cubase/Nuendo, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, ProTools, Studio One, Digital Performer, FL Studio, Samplitude, Reaper, Bitwig, Reason, Sonar, and Audition. Large backlit LCD to display channel name, control values etc. 8 months agoI had been using the Mackie MCU Pro but it was looking and feeling a bit past it, so after seeing one of the Icon Qcon going very cheap, I thought I'd take a chance and I am delighted with it, ity installed in minutes (Cubase) the display is far better than the MCU even though I had a new LCD fitted to the MCU. The build quality is top dollar, the faders are fast and precise, whereas the MCU seemed to take a few seconds to 'settle' I have in the past had ProjectMix, Alesis Mastercontrol (OK they do audio as well), BCF2000, Arturia Keylab Controller (that was good) but the Icon is easily the best of the lot. I have a very good (RME) interface, but am sorely tempted to buy the UMIX 1008.
Icon Qcon Midi Mapping Software
4 years agoI am the owner of an M-Audio ProjectMix I/O and due to the recent compatibility fiasco I am strong armed to find a unit with similar features. I cam across the QCon Pro and was intrigued, but let me tell you after purchasing this big paper weight I must say this unit gets two thumbs down. I bought one a few weeks ago not realizing that the satellite did not come with it.that was my bad, yet without the satellite you cannot get any sound from the station whatsoever, no headphone jack.nothing. I went on and bought the satellite and my Mac would not even recognize it regardless as to how I connected it. I connected it via the QCon as well as stand alone.nothing.
